Certifications & Trainings
I specialize in a variety of therapeutic modalities, including (but not limited to) the following:

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
(EMDR)
EMDR is a series of structured sessions utilizing bilateral stimulation and evidence-based psychotherapy to help alleviate distress from traumatic memories. This type of therapy is best for patients who suffer from long-lasting effects of PTSD, anxiety, and other mental illnesses.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)
IFS is a therapeutic model that views every person as a system composed of multiple parts, all driven by a core Self. This model teaches that this inner system, like a family, is healthy, and different inner parts of the self can be pushed into difficult roles, but also have valuable inherent qualities. Through this model, individuals can learn how to value each part of their inner selves.

Expressive Arts Therapy
Combining visual arts, movement, music, drama, and writing to help individuals process and grow from trauma, reduce overall stress, and improve their emotional well-being. This technique fosters creative processes rather than just talk therapy to promote self growth.

Trauma-Informed Stabilization Therapy (TIST)
TIST is a therapy model used to help individuals with complex trauma, dissociation, and self-destructive behaviors regain emotional stability. This therapy model integrates sensorimotor psychotherapy, IFS, and mindfulness in a phase-oriented therapy model to help individuals with self-regulation and reduce shame associated with these mental illnesses.

Relational Life Therapy
A type of couples therapy that focuses on accountability within relationships, eliminating “relationship-defeating” behaviors, and addressing power imbalances, to help restore intimacy within relationships. This type of therapy is action-oriented, often seen as direct and confrontational, and centers around truth -telling and compassion between couples to bring back relationships from the brink of divorce.

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)
KAP is a series of psychotherapy sessions where doses of ketamine are administered to the patient to assist in treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, and suicidality. Pre-screening is necessary to see if you may be a candidate for this type of treatment.
